NCAA ranks BBall teams using the RPI which helps them seed them for The Big Dance. Found this process used for Division I-A football.

Why is this NOT used in the BCS?

Ranking seems about what other polls have and it doesn't have those built-in biases or voters not watching games problem. Not to mention that there is no preseason ranking for this poll.

I love how a 9-0 team is ranked 10th. That would turn the BCS on it's ear. :D

And I agree, this SHOULD be used for collegiate football.

What? That poll is awful. 2 Three loss teams in the top 10?  Georgia at 3?

Yes it is favorable but the RPI tkes SOS too much into account, and with 1r games it's important, but not the end all be all. This poll will never be used in the BCS.

The BCS sucks.  Too much faith in human polls.

That's the only way a 3-loss team (+cough+ GayTurds +cough) can be in the Top 15.

College Football just needs to adapt a playoff system like basketball, no more bs polls

With the exception of Florida and Illinois, the top 10 is exactly the same. The top 2 is exactly the same which all that matters for the NC game.
