Whether it is A&M or another school, USF better show the green (even if CJL allows for a hometown discount).

Let me give you my list to replace CJL:1. Bob Stoops2. Pete Carroll3. Urban Meyer4. Bill Parcells5. The Pope (I would have him higher, but he runs Meyer's wing-T offense but not as effectively)I spoke with Jim Tressel who took his name out of consideration because he is worried that he will melt uinder his sweater-vest in the Florida humidity. You do know this cuts both ways.I recall him saying something to the effect that, if he did goto 'Bama, he'd be just another coach who won a Nat'l Championship at 'Bama.but here - he would be THE COACH that took USF to it's Nat'l championship.Gotta remember...sometimes ego is as much of a motivator as money. He buit it from the ground up. 8)

Most newbies to the program and this board or those that don't know cjl think he is like every other coach and that they will career jump to a bigger program just for the money. Say what you want about money talks, but in this case, its more then that. Sure if cjl was making what he was making 10 years ago, or even 3-5 years ago, he might be more tempted, but he is getting pretty decent money and has his so called "Dream Job". He isnt done building yet, and he won't leave until he is. The guy created this program, it means more to him then anyone else associated with USF. Other coaches come and go because they don't have the personal attachment that he has. But everytime there is talk, people come on here that don't know him and start this kind of talk. I know Leavitt loves USF, but how much money can USF continue to come up with year after year?http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/news;_ylt=Ai5AgrcFOTl5zbSCso4gxoYcvrYF?slug=coachingcarouselwouldbie&prov=tsn&type=lgnsI'm told by those connected to the Texas A&M situation that a big push could be made for South Florida's Jim Leavitt. His track record for success is well documented, and everyone knows he's underpaid. Leavitt also is attractive because he was born in Texas and recruited the state diligently when he was an assistant at Kansas State. a and m is a terrible programno chance for a bcs game everusf is a better program with more potentialnow- if leavitt wants$$$$$$$$$$$$$ than he goes to a and m
