You all know I am an Amarri sympathizer, so take this as you will...

Marcus has been pretty solid when he is actually returning a punt, he has had trouble when he calls for a fair catch, I don't know why (I think he had one or two against FAU as well).

However, if you are going to take the risk of fumbling a punt, Amarri has much more upside than Marcus once he gets the ball in his hands (assuming he holds on to it). He had two great returns against UCF.

I don't think Taylor would be a bad option either though.

It's my fault.  In the favorite player thread at the beginning of the year I said I respected Marcus Edwards because he was consistently reliable.  I think he still is for the most part but I probably hexed him a bit.  My apologies.

No, it's my fault.  At the BullBackers tailgate I told everyone I like Edwards because of his sure hands.  He proved that as a receiver.  I've jinxed him as a PR.

Just got to say it... I love the kid, but when he goes back to return punts it scares the $heet out of me. Literally every time the other team is punting I hold my breath... I just cant wait to see Erskin next year.

We haven't been very lucky with either Amarri or Marcus back there this year.  I think combined they have about 6 muffed punts in 9 games.

Don't we have a possession type guy that can go back there?  We need a Steve Largent type player, maybe thats Erskin...........
