TAMPA, Fla. – The University of South Florida athletics department announced today that “All-U-Can-Eat-Seats†will be available for all men’s and women’s home basketball games for the 2007-08 season.

With the purchase of one south end ticket (second level for men and lower level for women) you will receive a voucher that will allow for “All-U-Can-Eat†hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels and soft drinks for the entirety of the game. The ticket is $20 for men’s games and $15 ($12 youth) for women’s games and can be purchased by calling 1-800-GoBulls.

“We are extremely excited about offering the All-U-Can-Eat-Seats,†said Ayo Taylor-Dixon, Assistant Athletic Director/Marketing & Event Management. “We are constantly trying to improve our game atmosphere and trying to bring new elements to the table to improve our game atmosphere and hope that our fans will enjoy this and also enjoy watching our USF men’s and women’s basketball teams.â€Â

The regular-season home opener for the men is Friday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. against Cleveland State at the USF Sun Dome as part of the Glenn Wilkes Classic. The women tip-off the season on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m. vs. Bethune-Cookman at the Sun Dome.

With the arrival of Coach Heath, the 2007-08 season will be the start of a new era for the USF men’s basketball program. Heath will lead the Bulls into their third BIG EAST season after successful coaching stints at Arkansas and Kent State, which included three NCAA Tournament appearances, a 30-win season and an Elite Eight finish.

The USF women’s basketball team lost more then 60 percent of its offensive production off last year’s team in addition to its top two defenders, yet still found itself picked near the middle of the pack in this seasons BIG EAST Conference preseason coaches poll. Last season, USF recorded a 21-12 record and a 9-7 slate in the BIG EAST Conference. The Bulls earned a bid to the Women’s National Invitation Tournament where they advanced to the third round against Virginia.

USF will also serve as the host institution of the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Final Four, April 6 & 8 at the Forum.
