How do  you figure they have a direct path? How do they knock off Ohio State, LSU, Oregon, and West Virginia?

They do have a direct path to the "BCS" but not the "NCG"...

they look good at 9-0, but they don't have an easy or "direct" path to get there.

Mizzou last game of the reg. season then Oklahoma in the BXIICG are gonna be tough hurdles to clear.

They are in the Big 12, which for some reason is considered on of the top conferences.  If they win out, they will leap over the teams ahead of them and get to the NC game.

of course... because if they win out, they will have beaten two Top 10 teams (Mizzou and Oklahoma) to get there.

the Big XII isn't a very strong conference tho.

The Big 12 has three teams in the top 10, it's not he best but is a very good conference.

Kansas will not ein the national title, no way no how.

If Kansas wins out they will play in a NC game no matter what. The computers will like them better as they play better games and OU would be eliminated from the picture by Kansas. Now if they can win out is another question.
