First of all, I don't think Kansas will go undefeated, but if they do, the human voters will have them at number1 or 2, depending on Ohio State remaining perfect as well.  You can't go undefeated in a BCS conference, including a championship game, and not be ranked ahead of a 1 loss team.  Well, I guess you can, but it has never happened as far as I know.

Current #5 Kansas, which has a direct path to BCS title game by winning out, comes to play the Bulls on Sept. 13th.

I gotta tell ya. I give Kansas a 1-3 chance of finishing everything #1.  They just squeaked by last year by a small margin.  We would take em 22 - 10!

If they beat Missouri and Oklahoma it would become really interesting, the problem here is LSU. They have just one loss, and have played the strongest schedule in the nation and easily have the most quality wins out of everybody while playing in a tough SEC conference where you can lose every week and LSU played Virginia Tech in non-conference as well. Kansas played cupcakes in non-conference and up to this point they have beaten weak Big 12 teams.

I honestly don't think they can get by both Missouri and Oklahoma. The real debate will end up being between LSU and Oregon and when LSU wins out there will be a lot of angry west coast fans who are ready to cry bias. Analysts will say how this should call for a playoff, the unviersity prezes will simply revise the BCS system again and nothing will change.
