Ford is hurt.  Can't raise arm above shoulder.

Also must learn to run effectively without turning ball over.

There has to be more to the Ford story than we are aware of. My guess is he has not learned the blocking schemes or plays that well or maybe it is academics and he is being sat for the first half. Both are speculation on my part but I am baffled.

You know, when Demetris Murray committed to us, I thought it might have been a bad move on his part because he could play for some big schools.

But now, I'm kinda thinkin he should just be thrown into the fire next year.

I was under the impression that our RB was #8.

Well yeah...  Should he be is the question.  I don't think we have a choice though.

Look,

On 1st and second down when #26 is in the game, defenses are AWARE of him.  That is better than any other RB option.  When 26 is not in the game ALL defenses are locked into 8.  Look at the film.

Our goal is not gonna be accomplished, win the BE.  It is time to let Ford play.  It is also time for Carlton Mitchell to be mentioned as an undisputed starter.  He has had two 100-yard receiving games.

Call me completely insane, but let Amarri do punt returns.  Unless he is hurt, take Marcus out because he has fumbled at least three punts this year and he doesnt have the shake that Amarri has and I dont think Amarri will start at WR again this year.

long enough to get into a groove.

I still dont understand why Ben Williams starts. Yes he played well against FAU. Big Deal.

1.5 yards a carry with a long of 6.

I understand Fords numbers were not much better, but he is not even given a chance to get into a groove. What am I missing....

this has been bulls offense except for andre hall years

I think this is the big point about Ford. I don't particularly like his running style because seems to be spending alot of time going east-west vs. north-south, but he is one of the few players on offense that the D must account for. Opponents know that they MUST get more than one helmet on #26 to bring him down....which should open up play-action passing....IF we knew what that was of course  ::)
