Im a little tired of the constant debate between these 2.

  Grothe's team is ranked higher

Tebow is still an amazing QB. Plug either in and you have a good team.

It's a natural comparison. Same year, same style, same leadership, same state... I think it's all in good fun.

u also gotta figure that Teabag has a team full of 5 star players to pass to.

Grothe is making 2 and 3 star players look like superstars.  if he had guys like Harvin to throw to, those passes dropped in the endzone would be TDs more often than not.

i think the comparison is played out too...  but Grothe is our quarterback and i wouldnt trade him for anybody. the kid has grit and the will to win.

Both are great football players. I like Grothe at QB better just because he seems to remind me of a Brett Farve, Steve Young, Joe Montana type of QB all rolled into one. I think Tebow would make a good FB though.

Tebow has a lot of talent and has a lot of talent to utilize.  That being said, we have a real dual threat in Matt.  We actually have 12 men on the field with him, a QB and RB.  I wouldn't trade him for any QB in 1-A today.  He is perfect for USF.

They will play each other their senior years.

Tebow might have the raw athletic skill, but Grothe wins games.  Not hard to pick when you know what you want in a QB.
