SOLVED!

I'm watching the replay of the Jim Leavitt press conference on Catch47, some lady asked Leavitt about picking out the helmet colors, Leavitt says...."Yeah, the funny thing is, I'm colorblind"!!!  something like that.

I saw that too, and my 1st reaction was "HA!.......all you bullspenners who always told me that 'leavitt chose the color, and he likes it, so therefore it MUST be right'....eff off!"

  :) :) :)

I have a couple of helments in my office and noticed yesterday that they are different colors, close but different. Did we change the color over the years?

Colored would make more sense in terms of team color but I still think our helmets rock.  I didn't know there was such a hatred of the helmets.

I actually liked the "Goat"...    But the Iconic U has been a big improvement.  Hopefully getting inked soon with it.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
