If BC can score a couple more touchdowns I think it's possible Ga Tech drops out and that would open up a spot. Otherwise, better start rooting for a UNLV comeback against Hawaii.

i think it IS a big deal to get ranked.. it would do wonders for recruiting having us noticed instead of just that Big East team that lingers in the middle of the pack and comes up as the spoiler for UL or WVU.

The later it gets in the season the harder it is to justify keeping 1 loss teams in and unbeaten teams out. Nebraska, Arkansas, Georgia all are 1 loss teams along with VT.

AU got dropped after a close loss to USF so should Arkansas after close loss to Bama IMO

Although I wanted to believe that we could get ranked during a bye week...Come'on folks, to get in the top 25, we need to do it on the field not on the couch!!!
