Is it possible to bring cow bells to the home games? Therefore everytime the opposing team's offense is on the field in a critical situation they can play the Christopher Walken skit on the big jumbo-tron.

People sneak them in however. Personally, I think cowbells are stupid... but, to each their own.

If you try to sneak the cowbells into the game. You have the possibility of being escorted out of the stadium or having the cowbells taken by the man> LOL O0

I checked the Raymond James Website and it did not have cow bell as contraband.

I do too, the noise of everyone screaming at the top of the lungs is much more intimidating than cowbells in my opinion. But to each their own.

Plus it was a device used to check the animals in check, so they wouldn't wander on free range. If they did the owners could easily find them becuase the noise.

I've never been much of a fan of the cow bells...but I do remember back in the day (at least in my section) where we had bull horns and we painted them up, etc.  Honestly can't remember who we got it from but my wife got it for me.  Whoever sold them would cut the end of the horn off and dril l and hole so that a trumpet mouthpiece could be put in to blow air through the horn.  Still got it at home and use it on game days but sucks that we can't bring them in to the stadium.

They are very much illegal at RayJay.  Those, and ANY kind of noise maker.

It was at the Pitt game in 2004 I believe...some people brought in Thunder Sicks from the Lightning and they started to clap them 20 minutes before kickoff.  A guy got on the PA and actually told them to stop using them...like the entire stadium heard it...

It's not a Raymond James policy, it's a Big East conference policy.

The cow bell is a tradition in a lot of places, like Mississippi State.  The SEC has a policy banning them as well, but so many people bring them to MSU games, there's no way they could take them all away.

And at RayJay, they take them from you and you have to go get them later -- if you are belligerent about it being taken away, then they will escort you out.

Edit: Corrected SEC school - per Joe.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
