Our fans can complain all the want but until there are more or just as many of them as UF fans it wont make a difference.  OR until USF can offer WDAE more $$$$$$ than UF for a deal.

I think how that works is that WDAE/Clear Channel pays the Gators for broadcast rights...

no.  UF buys the media markets (e.g.- tampa, orlando, jax), then sells their commercial time slots to companies, touting that they are offering airtime to 3 major media markets.  this allows them to charge a higher rate per advertising block.

Only if they had some pitchers.

problem is...they have some pitchers...they just keep on trying to force them into starters.

they got a lot of guys at the AAA and AA level that could be good middle relief guys and never will be starters....

guys like JP Howell.

Not exactly sure what "buy a media market" means but some quick research shows that I was wrong about the UF radio stations buying their broadcast rights. That's how the majority of SEC teams do it, according to one site, but not UF. They work on a barter system with, I'm assuming, Clear Channel.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
