The team is expected to make its decision in about 45 days.-- Miami Heraldhttp://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/scorecard/03/12/truth.rumors.college/It doesn't seem the people in Miami like to pay for any facilities (and good for them)... I know its a bit of a hike but at least the stadium is in good condition. Or maybe they could share one with FAU or FIU.

There is NO ROOM on their campus and the ritzy citizens of coral gables would probably say no-- considering the traffic and noise that will come to their neighborhood.in terms of getting their "own" stadium, i think they might be screwed. the OB is as close as it will get. the OB needs to be torn down, though. it is pretty crappy and out of date. As we all saw in 2005 the OB isn't in good condition and does need a lot of work. The problem is Miami's athletic department has no money, they could probably pay for the rennovations, but they're trying to stay strong. If Miami leaves the Orange Bowl, one of the most historic venues in the country quickly becomes deserted.I think, in the end, there will be some type of deal worked out where Miami will pay for part and the city will pay for part. Leading the Marlins to jump town because the "U" got the money they wanted for a ball park. By playing at Dolphins Stadium their already crappy attendance will only get worse.
