"Leavitt continues to push for a central athletic dining hall, calling it his "No. 1 priority" of this off-season. The multi-story facility would cost about $4-million, and the current site of choice would be on the east side of the Sun Dome, across the street from USF's baseball stadium. Leavitt said he'd be disappointed if USF hadn't broken ground on a facility by fall. The Bulls are still working to raise the rest of the $6-million or so needed for a new softball stadium and a practice field complex for the football team."

According to Greg...

Some great info...

Leavitt will likely keep Grothe out of contact for spring drills and if someone has a copy of the Sporting News... you may like what you see.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

I wouldn't expect Leavitt to maKE THOSE COMMENTS UNLESS things are getting in place.

Crambone-the Wildcat lodge is "dorm" for UK Basketball players not a dining hall, they have a few non-athlete students live there to maintain "dorm" status, therefore, I don't understand the correlation between the dining hall and the Wildcat lodge.

The north side is where the new basketball practice facility and offices are going.  So there isn't any room there.  The dining hall on the east side may also allow some upgrade in the concessions offered at SunDome events as it may be some sort of partnership.

So Eric, are you allowed to say how close they are to the goal?

And what about the Practice Fields/Softball Facility?

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
