I said USF HAD NO INTEREST. Huggins of course had interest hence the make believe donors, etc, but it never came to fruition for him. Perhaps you need to work on comprehension and all this might come a little easier for you.

I am not making this up, I made a post the following night after we got beat by TAMCC. that was something along the lines of NIT, Coach of the Year bound huh?Not that I take Randy's extreme side, but that thread did exist. It was something about USF basketbakk being alive, because we beat the hell out of Norfolk State. The one reason I remember it is because personally thought it was rediculous to guage how good a team was on a game that a great high school team could woin. The point was how many were talking up the NIT/COY stuff. After every win there's usually an overly exuberant thread started but few buy into it. I'm sure Randy was blowing it way out of proportion to make a point ... something he does on a regular basis. Scary to think.Thankfully, USF's current Coach has to rely mostly off cast-offs from other I-A schools for players...as it seems that many HS kids today are not "buying" what he is selling. Problem with the whole rumor was there was never an "influential booster" identified (at least to the parties I have spoken to at USF). When someone can identify this "booster" we'll be well on our way to exposing this myth completely.Wonder why the boosters wouldn't give Andy or Brett a name...why not come out in the open if you are truly putting money where mouth is? Why just float the rumor? One guess. Thanks KL, you're a real johnny-on-the-spot.
