Tough loss, but we cant lose these games.  I hate to break it to everyone but st. johns was playing without their best player by far, Daryl "showtime" Hill.  They also scheduled us in Queens and not msg which is like a high school gym if you have ever been there. Wouldnt say its the most electrifying arena or gym for that matter.   Will we win a road conference game in mac regime? so far the answer is no.

Well if you are not drawing BIG crowds playing in a small HS gym actually helps crowd noise wise. think of Tulane and Fogelman arena.

Seen this a few times - as the self-proclaimed "USF's biggest fan", could you get the guy's name right?  Or is that a method of subliminal insult?  You seem to mis-type names a lot.  As the biggest fan, we expect a little more.

Oh he scored the last shot?  Must make him a prolific scorer.  

He is like a poor mans Andre Miller.  Smooth and controlled game but cant really penetrate and create for himself or anyone else.  he has that one 10 assist game which keeps his stats up, but by the end he may average more turnovers than assists.  I agree with ari, we really have no quick first step guards, hopefully holmes is going to be our guy, if he stays out of trouble.

I loved that the team was able to come back, however, this really threw a wrench into those MSG plans. It's going to require us to finish at LEAST 3-3 to get there. 4-2 to leave no doubt.

He did Andy but was much of the reason we had so much of a hole to climb in the first half.

I like Howard but he is def still getting used to the guys around him and scoring.  once he pulls everything together he will be good.

As far as bozeman,  he is only a freshman.  He has shown some signs of brilliance but need to improve ball handling in the off season.  

I love the heart of this team.  Now if we could go to U of L and steal one and get this one back it would be great.  I still think this team will make it to MSG.

Mac should get all of the credit for the great second-half comeback, but in no way should he be responsible for the first 20 minutes or the last 2.

Its not his fault the players do not execute or give the same effort for the entire 40 minutes, or that the level of play is this low on the road.

I think Mac is great...another notch in the moral victory column...yeah!!!
