Someone told me that USF bought the mall last week and that alot of people are being laid off so they can tear it down and begin construction.Does anyone know anything about this? Heard these rumors?I don't mean to start an OCS debate, just wanted any verification.

So, if true (which I am skeptical), it will come out soon.

I wouldn't count the aquisition of the mall property out just yet.

If I'm not mistaken, funds for land aquisitions and money for building football stadiums don't come from the same source Aren't government and waste synonymous? If the 13 largest school in the country can't pay a bball coach 300-500K then they can't spend 100 million on a stadium.
