After signing day...probably looking pretty good.

Come July when kids have to enroll and be totally qualified...maybe not as good.

ill take all the 2 and 3 star players in the world who are willing to bust their ass for 4-5 years and become great players like Nicholas or St Louis.

and ill stay far away from all the 5 star guys that end up like Fred Rouse or Willie Williams.

you can rate a players physical tools and how well they look on video but when it comes time for them to step out on their own at college and listen to a coach who doesnt treat them like they are bigger then the team and makes them work day in and day out to just see the field then you really get the true judge of charcter and what kind of player they will be

Recruiting rankings are good for YaBB banter and selling $9.95/month online subscriptions....lets look at our highest ranked recruits over the history of USF (4-Stars and above)

1. Courtney Denson - Auburn Transfer..buried on the bench

2. Andre Hall - Stud, best RB in USF History (only played 2 yrs)

3. Carlton Hill - So far bust as QB, question mark as Safety or WR

4. Leslie Stirrups - Never made the field

5. Frank Harry - Homesick

6. Mike Ford - "The next coming"??

7. At least 5-6 other 3-stars who never did much(McCullough, Peyton, etc.)

Let's look at some others 2-Stars

1. Stephen Nicolas - Potential NFL Starter (4 yr Bull)

2. Bill Grammatica - Former NFL Kicker (4 yr Bull)

3. George Selvie - 1st Team Freshman All American

4. Matt Grothe (3-Star) - supposedly only 2nd best QB in that recruiting class(see Carlton Hill)

5. Amarri Jackson - Former BB player labeled as a project--doing very well

So when you look at it scientifically, it means diddly poo until they get between the white lines

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
