OCS at every state university

Well, every State University in Florida but USF, with a football team... will have its own OCS now.  FIU just topped it off with approval of the Board of Governors 2 minutes ago.

ummm...there has been a football stadium on FIU's campus since before i got to high school in 97.  but back then it was used a majority of the time for high school football.

From today's St. Pete. Times...

Athletic director Doug Woolard is negotiating with the Tampa Sports Authority for a new lease agreement at Raymond James Stadium. A five-year renewal with a five-year option would leave open the possibility of USF opting out for an oncampus stadium in the next decade.

And the school in the state with more NC's than all the State schools combined doesn't have one ....

This needs to be moved to the State of Florida Board.

Ah...FIU has always played on-campus Football.

Also...their stadium improvements were announced months ago...and many USF fans took note of them...because USF will be traveling down in a few years to play at FIU.

Today...the funding (as expected) passed.

FYI...of the $31 Million approved today...$24 Million is going toward a 100,000 square-foot student center which will house undergraduate advising, admissions, financial aid and a welcome center.

Stadium upgrades will cost around $7 Million.

usf doesnt need an OCS for 15 years at least

when usf can recruit with the big boys than they can get their own sand box

usf cant even keep their ol coach!!!!!!!!!! 8-)
