I think we have averaged 8-12 players on Buchalter's list the last few years.  I would expect the same this year.

I do note that Tyson Butler is not on that list and Pitt and USF are going after him.  Elvis Fisher and Charlton Sinclair (3 star prospects by Rivals and scout) are not on his list.  It is an inexact science.  I would like to see us have 15-18 of the top 100, no matter whose list you used.

First, I think USF is doing quite fine in recruiting.

However, let me say that the FSU and Miami 'downturn' this year may have less of a positive impact on USF than it will allow more out-of-state schools to come in and grab a handful of Florida recruits.

I don't see USF competing with UF, FSU, and UM for recruits.  I see USF competing with LSU, WVU, U of L, Rutgers, Ohio State, South Carolina, etc...

Keep Florida talent in Florida!!

Too bad it isn't you.  Here's a hint to help you understand: the signing period isn't here yet.  Everything out there right now is subjective, and will change after the signing period arrives.

We already compete with the Big 3 schools ... granted a few players, but we compete and will compete for more in the future.

just to show how much the star ratings are bs....Donte Spires was a 1 star recruit whenhe commited now after Juco he is a 3 star recruit...if he qualified academically he would be here already waiting to step into a starter role...Thed watson was a 1star....Grothe was a 2 star...they mean nothing...watch the highlight video of Richard Kelly and then say he is only a 2 star back
