It was only an assistant AD, not their AD, so he is probably about 85% correct, but there's only a 10% chance of that.

No way ECU will bring that many fans to BMH...We dont travel that well and really dont have that much fan support..Dont worry about that crap...dont even bother to go to the bowl...We all know that USF is the superior team and its a long drive to make 2 days before Christmas...I got tickets but now Im thinking about staying in NC and watching it on TV...I hope Santa brings me a PS3...**** football!!!

Dude......if ECU has more than us, that will be a real shame.  :(

Considering they had more people at THEIR home games than we had at OUR games -- I would expect them to have more people at the bowl game.

MEMPHIS -- 37431

WEST VIRGINIA -- 40510

VIRGINIA -- 35541

TULSA -- 34011

SMU -- 34141

MARSHALL -- 41372

Their smallest crowd was larger than our largest crowd this year.

True this year, but not overall, seeing we averaged 40K last year (more than they averaged this year) and had larger crowds last year than their lagest crowd this year.  AND, next year with WV, UL and CFU on the docket, we will average at least 40K again next year.

I wonder how they "instantly" went from 5K to 7K, when they were having problems with tix sales according to posters on their board.

We didn't average 40k last year, we averaged 33k.

My fault, I dunno why I had that number in my head.

I would hope that number goes up with UL, WVU, and UCF back. Having FAMU would have been nice but they just wanted too much.
