Yes, But the USF marketing still lack any imagination.

Look at LSU they have already sold over 30,000 "preliminary" tickets to the Rose Bowl.

Bulls marketing should already be taing orders for the Bowl, Bus, Hotels, etc.

Got to start think BIGGER!!!!!!

We don't have the fans . . . what would selling 5K tix do ? Nada  :-/ Our fans wouldn't pre-order because they would want to know logistics.

USF opened Season Tix early.

That's the Rose Bowl, though. USF would be going somewhere two days before Christmas in a third-rate bowl in a fourth-rate stadium against a fifth-rate team.

Like we have EVER proven that we have the right to look down our noses at any bowl game.  Sorry, but that's a piss-poor snobby attitude to have - especially since we've never won a trophy in football in our history.

Sometimes it's pathetic and embarrassing to hear some Bulls fans.  I know you're a true fan and you're not the only person who has made comments like this, but we are in no position to be turning our noses up at any bowl game.

A BCS game would be a time where a pre order would be necessary. It's going to take some time to develop our traveling fan base to bowl games before pre ordering is ever an option.

Marketing?  How in the f--- can they market when they haven't been invited?  Good gosh get a clue.  There are packages prepared and by midday tomorrow the press and USF will be all over the announcement and there will be a plethora of travel packages and announcements made.

They have a package to B-Ham already in-place champ but they can't release it until it's official!  DUH!  You'll find the packages this year are much more affordable and fun.  I've heard prices in the range of $550 for all inclusive travel.

Now chill

I realize this is not a BCS Bowl, but we CAN start thinking (and planning) bigger.  And prove that we deserve bigger and better bowls in the future.

Packages CAN be released ahead of the announcement as pre-orders and probably sell more.  Many people (including MANY on this board) are already making their own packages, therefore will not be buying any the marketing Dept. might offer.

I just think with as much interest there is out there to try and back the BULLS, a little preliminary advertised efforts would be accepted and appreciated.  Ads in the paper, radio, etc.

If they have the packages in place, they should release the details and prices for the fans to peruse before the invite is official.  Sale of the package to  commence upon the bid being accepted.

Is that too hard for you to grasp?

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
