Marketing?  How in the f--- can they market when they haven't been invited?  Good gosh get a clue.  There are packages prepared and by midday tomorrow the press and USF will be all over the announcement and there will be a plethora of travel packages and announcements made.

They have a package to B-Ham already in-place champ but they can't release it until it's official!  DUH!  You'll find the packages this year are much more affordable and fun.  I've heard prices in the range of $550 for all inclusive travel.

If they have the packages in place, they should release the details and prices for the fans to peruse before the invite is official.  Sale of the package to  commence upon the bid being accepted.

Uh, hey genius they couldn't offer a package until we were invited.  You do understand the concept of being invited right?  If your not invited then you cannot go to the game.  Sure maybe they could have released the package but then some nimrod would be pissed if it turned out we were offered an invite to ANOTHER BOWL!  There were packages set up to three bowls, Papajohns was the obvious destination but it wasn't for certain until about 5 hours ago.  The packages were released earlier then that when the bowl announcement became a formality so I'd say they did a good job!

I can't believe this concept doesn't make sense to you.   Now that we're "OFFICIALLY" invited to the Papajohn's bowl you can now see that the marketing department was doing a great job behind the scenes getting prepped for this scenario.  The bowl packages are big, and affordable and take into account the sensitivity of the dates at hand, i.e. Christmas Eve on the following day.
