Buzz around Tampa...

Just got back from lunch in Downtown.  Heard two guys talking about how they booked their flights to Birmingham already, then heard another group talk about how exciting Grothe is to watch.

There is buzz in other parts of the country as well, including here in the "Mid-South."

Several people who know I'm a Bull stopped me at church yesterday to remark on how impressive our Bulls looked Saturday.

My dad (UF grad) and my brother-in-law (FSU grad) both are finally starting to give the Bulls a little respect.

Look what winning a significant game here and there will do!

my coworkers (mostly UF grads and a Rutgers fan) that know i went to usf told me congrats too.....my other coworker who is a West Virginia grad walked right past me when i tried to talk to him....i guess he's a little sore about the loss

I had lunch in Orlando sunday and the waitress remarked after seeing me in my bulls gear.. "****, I wish our team could play as well as the bulls..." I simply smiled and said thanks....  Really wanted to slam ucf but I kinda feel sorry for the little guys!

a guy i work with somehow knows ricky ponton. i asked him on friday if he had any "inside info" on an upset, and we both chuckled.....

then today, he grabs me: "hey man! huge win for south florida!!"

Even my co-workers in Texas noticed the game. Especially the Rutgers grad who is happy that they now control their own destiny in the conference.

I got some emails today from co-workers in Baltimore, Minneapolis and Oregon.

It was good to see they recognized the Bulls and remembered who the heck to associate with that thought process.

Not one tripped themselves up with any mistaken reference to the impaired little brothers down I-4.

I am in the Upper Midwest.  I recieved several e-mails from clients in Wisconsin and Chicago saying that USF looked great.  The only negative up here is that they are saying it was a trap game for WVU with Rutgers this week.  Oh well, still positive.  ESPN cna reach a lot of people.
