What would they exactly spell out? "South Florida?" We'd run out of people and space by the time we spelled out South. PLus, I'm sure by the time we got to "u" the band would be out of breath.

I like the way they run out when they are introduced... I've never seen a band do that.

I believe most Ohio State band members are on scholarship as they have a band alumni association, foundation etc. that raises LOTS of money.  They also practice like a zillion hours per week as if it was a full time job.  They did get 100 year head start on us.
