I said all along i will be around if he turns this mess around.  I watched the big east all my life unlike you new comers to the conference.  Believe me Robert McCullums recruiting and coaching cannot compete in this hell of a basketball conference.  

Shoop if I recall i remember you throwing mac and the bball team under the bus all last season as well, of course in between your campaign to change our colors to pink and perrywinkle  8-)

Trip you know i can admit when i am wrong so you are right as usual it is a win win for me.

I know you forever-optimists like to act as though us realists are mean spirited etc....But that's complete garbage. We just want to win, and it blows my mind that we enter a bb conference and make NO EFFORT to improve our bb program.

Like Herm, I grew up on BE bb and I can say with confidence that CRM is obviously not getting it done in this conference....But I pray every night that I will be proved wrong about CRM.

I'm sick of being right.

I think Mac is good at coaching, but really has personnel problems.  Coach K problem could not coach USF to a winning season with Capko starting.  Point is Coach Mac needs to step up recruiting.

And that is starting to happen.  He's getting some quality, but not enough quantity, so far.

The Dominique Jones signing is a great signing.

He just needs to land a couple more big guys before the end of the late period.

Now, as for your statement about his recruiting, I think it's only fair for us to wait and see what this team looks like in jan and feb, when the roster is full and hopefully healthy.

If you remember, last year the only thing that kept this team from winning those close games(and there were lots of them) was depth. Any improvement in talent along with the additional depth could make this team a very competitive team that may....just may....make the Big East tournament *gasp*.....
