The new full house backfield looked great and worked great. It sure added a new dimension to the O. Ponton was missed. I think he realizes it. But you have to pay for your mistakes. At least he got a third chance. He could have played for UCONN>   Reaper

Not only did he put up good numbers, He looked good doing it.  Ponton has much more speed, power, vision, and ability to break tackles than we've seen from our backfield.  Only his first game as the feature back.  Looks like we finally have a threat to break long runs.

I had been anticipating this day ever since the MCCB ended and Andre was out the door.  I am glad to see that RP did not let me down.

Now we can actualy have a RB do all the running and let our QB do the throwing.

I hope Ricky and the other stay out of trouble for the rest of the year.  It looks like we could really use them

the vision and breaking tackles, specifically. how many times has Ben Williams gone down on 1st contact? ponton was patient and picked the right hole the vast majority of the time on saturday. cant wait to see what we look like from here on out...

yea that 2 rb set looked real good yesturday.  gives grothe so many more "options" on the draw plays.  imagine if that 2 back set included ponton and plancher.

deceptive running game mixed with a wide open passing game.  exciting times.
