The thought of having two QB's who are actually good (remains to be seen with Voss) is almost unfathomable as a Bulls fan.  When is the last time we had a good starting QB with a back-up who competes and would be good as a fill-in??

It sure would be nice to have two solid QB's on the roster!!

Voss is the real deal, he'll redshirt then start as a junior, the way it should be done.

You better believe that the comments about Leavitt thinking that Julmiste and Grothe were just about even was nothing more that coachspeak. As a head coach it's extremely ballsy to give the reigns of an offense right over to a redshirt freshmen, even as bad as Julmiste is. The coaching staff's plan of getting Grothe in for quality snaps the first game further illustrates my point. They knew Grothe was better, they just needed it to be proven first.

I have questioned Leavitt on the QB since last year ...

A. What did he see in Denson that gave him the start.  :-/ It MAY have cost us that game, but nothing else.

We played Julmiste and we know what he did.

B. He gave C. Hill the staring job in Spring ... must have been to try to give him confidence.

I disagreed with A & B ... but this is history and we have not had a real QB since MB until now ... and we still need to recruit 2. AND we ARE looking JuCo . . .
