Bullish Posted October 1, 2006 Group: Member Topic Count: 11 Content Count: 132 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 01/22/2006 Share Posted October 1, 2006 Yes it is!!! However he still gets people talking and that alone is a benefit. Hell, USFMIKE has gone so far as to call me a Smazza clone (I do not have the time or the dedication to be a Smazza clone) but I do choose the opposite side of the discussion at times to gain more knowledge about the positive. I suppose that's not effective in law though...at least in the event that you know you're wrong.

He leaves a lot of innuendo out there that newer or more naive readers might believe to be fact based on his posting of it..generally these are slights against USF, Woolard, Leavitt or just about anyone connected to the school.Shameful. Give it a f'in rest. Maybe if we ignore him or steer him in another direction he will just go away.... "Hey is that an ambulance I see?"

I won't name names (protect the innocent) but they have told me he was the main reason they post at other boards. If he wasn't here-- I don't know what would happen. We seem to have this discussion at least once a year. I have chalked it up to him being a major attention whore who has some sort of repetitive disorder. this is the funniest one of alllike any poster would have that kind of influence and power of other.i dont believe someone could be that effected by a post that they would leave.we are talking sports here.i dont even look at some of et's grothe posts.i wouldnt let him chase me away if he posted doubles.so what.for someone that spends all their time taking pictures of men in tight uniforms touching each other and than posting them here every chance you get.spring pracitice, fall practice, games and the season ending team dance it seems you are the attention whore.the fans like what you provide no doubt.i guess as a child you never participated and didnt develop your talking skills so you stood on the sideline afar from the action with your camera.most would rather have et's posts of usf going 10-0 and never losing or  his posting of every article with grothe's name in it.everyone has their schtick. I mention this just to establish at least a little precedence before I comment on the thread.Although I am not trying to justify the frequency of his critiquing posts, I can see where Smazza is coming from. Given the amount of time and effort he has put into posting on this board, it is clear that he genuinely wants USF to succeed and is expressing frustration over what appears to him to be shortcomings of the program, regardless of whether USF won the last game or not. This appears to me to be his personality. He is likely even more critical of himself in his everyday life, and there is nothing wrong with that, often a facet of a type A personality. Other members of the board should find it endearing if nothing else, like the parent, coach, or mentor that is always critical because they see the potential for the achievements that have yet to be reached.most bulls fans refuse to discuss the negatives of the program(and there are plenty_)

Mike G is fulfilling a request by the Bulls community to add visual references to what has occured on the field. Smazza's posts are a fullment of no request but his own and are placed as a response to his own personal need to prove to the world he has no life by being the first to placing 40K negative posts on a message board concerning a university football team. ET is simply trying to be the antithesis of smazza albeit on a much smaller level: see above 'life' reference.

That could be why he's been a little more vocal than normal. We lost a tough game. We'll win more than we lose this year with a brand new QB, many new OL starters, no RB for half a season, so we'll be just fine.
