Well, this is true, but the school probably needs to recover a bit.  IIRC, our spending does go up every year.  We're going to need a new OC, maybe BB coach, etc.  Just those 2 will take us out of last place if we go for quality.

FYI, i'd prefer if the greatest amound of our funds went into staffing.  The best way to succeed is to obtain and keep good people - that's true of every business I can think of.  College football IS a business.

Reality is that our athletics funding has doubled since 2001, from $12 million a year to $23 million.  It continues to trend upwards, which is what we need for the future.  I agree 100% with Diddy, hiring the right people is going to be paramount.  Pretty soon, we'll be able to afford upgrades to coaches where necessary.

I too give money to the school.  Have been season ticket holders since day one and a bull’s club member.  When the University calls on their found raisers (and they do several times a year) I give (Since 1980).  I'm also a member of the alumni association.  I promote hiring engineers from USF for the company, and last week I recruited at USF.  I started this thread and for 26 years I have given time and money.

Actually, I wasn't meaning roll call for you Bulls1, more of a general request of people posting on the board.  Everyone here better be giving, that was the gist of my post.  No offense intended.
