I don't recall USC playing a 1AA team either.  I could be wrong on that, but they've stepped it up on scheduling tougher opponents.

Any body know which top 25 team has NOT played a 1AA team in the last three years?

GO BULLS!

Here's a few that haven't played a Div I-AA School over the past 3 years: (Not sure about this year's schedule...I know UF has another I-AA game on one of their future schedules)

USC

Florida

Tennessee

Michigan

Ohio St

Texas

Notre Dame

Oklahoma

Boston College

Penn State

PSU just played Yougstown St. so knock them off the list.  I thought they played OSU in the last few years too.  Maybe it was prior to the last 3.

Side note:  USC and Ohio State have a home and home set up for "08 and '09.  Talk about a good series.

Auburn is a BLAST!

One of the best parts about this trip, some UCF/Auburn fans would hold a Golf Tournament at the famous Robert Trent Jones Golf Trails-Grand National Courses..just outside of Auburn/Opelika.

(see link)

http://www.rtjgolf.com/courses/grand_national/

Auburn is a great lil college town (most hotels are in Opelika)...have to see Toomer's Corner...The Drug Store...Mellow Mushroom, other bars, etc...

Fans are real nice....female student body likes to "dress up"...Boys in Frats will be wearing ties...it's Southern Football at its finest.

Plus...many locals are very cool...some even offer up their front yards for parking...NO CHARGE! (Listening Miami?)

Been to Auburn at least 4 times for games...always had a good time.

Cyber, I traveled over to Auburn from ATL for a UCF game back when they had Duante with a bunch of UCF buddies.  It was a pretty good time.  I thought the Auburn fans were pretty lame though.  Very quiet throughout the game.  UCF was winning the entire game and then Duante turned the ball over and Auburn stole a win in the last 2 minutes.  I think the final score was 10-6 or so.

Eveyone plays a 1-AA team.

Who cares who it is, a 1AA is a 1AA team.  An easy W.  The media doesn't care which 1-AA team you play.

Anyone remember what the all-time record against Elon is? Not that anyone cares anymore but I think back in the day we played a one and one with them and I think we split the series. Anyone have a better memory?

'97...Elon 41 x USF 13

'98...USF 35 X Elon 7

...one of the best 'quick reference' football sites:

http://michigan-football.com/ncaa/f/

it has everyones opponent and score chronoligically from day-one.

To get the page with the historical listing, select the file, per school,

with the largest size. Here's the Notre Dame listing:

[TXT] ntredame.htm            17-Sep-2006 08:19     2k

[TXT] ntredameh.htm          17-Sep-2006 08:19     4k

[TXT] ntredames.htm          17-Sep-2006 08:19   252k

[TXT] ntredamew1.htm        17-Sep-2006 08:19     9k

...so you would select the "ntredames.htm" file.

pretty handy tool, and you can click on the opponent and get

shifted to thier compilation page. 8-)
