Sports Radio up here stating "Bad teams make bad decisions, this draft is a case in point." Then went on about the Hawk's first pick and then Sol.  Bugs me because they admittedly know nothing about either one, and because of that think they suck.  Predictably, all the hillbillies call in and say how terrible the front office is and blah, blah blah.

They claim tha Sol'scollege coach was horrible.

Made that last part up.   ;)

No one knows who Solomon is, so they rip him and the Hawks.  We'll have to wait and see if he plays as advertised, but the Hawks in general are known for making poor draft selections.  Does anyone remember Priest Lauderdale?  Didn't think so.

7'4 330 lbs?

Ya, he was thrown out of a bar in Orlando for touching a girls rear end back in 1997 when he was with the Nuggets

I can understand the idiots on the radio not knowing who Sol is but not knowing their first pick? Wasnt it Sheldon Williams?  Who doesnt know who that is?  He will be an NBA player for a long time, hopefully we can say the same about Sol Jones.

790 The Zone is a bunch of douchebags.

I know Matt Chernoff very well and he is Douchebag #1.

I used to like the Stews, but all of that **** barking just gets to me.

Nick Cellinia is good guy to have a few pops with at Mehan's though.

Just my 2cents.

I'm with Herman. I can understand a casual college bball fan not knowing who SoJo is, but who the hell, in ATlanta nonetheless, doesn't know who Sheldon Williams is. ATL is right in the heart of ACC country. Sounds like the same goobers call the station up in the ATL that call 620 down here.

I'm sure they know who Shelden Williams is, he's been playing at Duke for 4 years, which means he played in the ATL four different times against GT.  Not to mention, I think the ACC tourney was played here once or twice in the last four years.  Also, Duke was in the Atlanta bracket of the NCAAs twice in the last four years.  They know who he is, but they might not like the selection.
