Hmmmmm.... how much you wanna bet that the softball stadium will be called Frank Morsani Field

Well considering that at almost all schools any building be it athletic, academic, or subsidary are named after the main donor; I would hope we'd honor the man that gave us that much money by naming the stadium after him.

Naming the softball stadium after him would be a lot better then naming some practice fields after him.  Who refers to practice fields by a name anyway??

How is that off topic?

its off topic, because this is about the softball stadium and football practice fields, not once was an ocs mentioned in any of the two blogs.  congrats to both coach erikson and leavitt on getting these new upgrades for their programs.  my only concern is are they going to build the practice fields for football after the softball stadium is complete?  otherwise where will the softball team play if they aren't finished with their stadium, and they are building the practice fields on their field?

Congrats on the gift!

That's great that this person donated to BOTH Academics and Athletics.

Still wish he would have gotten the baseball team.

He got hosed big time by MLB ....... of course, if he had gotten the team, he may not have had the money for this and his other philanthropic gifts.  ;)
