A huge part of any university's success is their alumni base.  Did you know there are 197K USF alumni worldwide, yet only 14K active alumni association members?  

That's not even close to 10%.  I would encourge all USF alumni to join the alumni association.  It's only $40.00 a year or $700.00 for a lifetime membership (can be paid in installments).  There are lots of great benefits and if nothing else it's outstanding goodwill to a great university!  

We need to increase the numbers above dramatically.  When was the last time you attended an alumni event in your local area?  There are lots of great chapters out there starting up outside of the Tampa Bay area, Charlotte, NYC, D.C., Dallas, Atlanta, and Philadelphia.  

Go to the USF Alumni Website and check out some information on becoming a member and all the great happenings in your area, www.usfalumni.net

If you want to become a member you can join on the website or call Director of Chapters, Merrell Dickey at 800-299-BULL.

BAusfkid, your preaching to the wrong crowd here.  most of the people on this board are part of the alumni website, are current usf tudents and prospective usf students.

Always wondered exactly what some of those "great benefits" include. I consider myself a bulleiver, but wondering why I should pay for it ... Thanks for any insight.
