I'm no RMC basher, but I'd like to see what he'll do the next few years. If we get a lot better then he has done his job.

When he gets us to .500 in conference... that is when I would be thinking extension.
Guest Ari_Hinkelberger
contract extension?  Are you kidding me?Where are your expectations? He gets one more year.  He needs to make the NIT to keep his job.  He needs to go 8-8 in conference. My prediction is that he goes 5-11 and the whole world nominates him for coach of the year, because expectations are non-existent.ONe thing is for sure, his team plays very good defense.  I was looking at some stats and his team kept a top 20 G-town team under 60 both times we played them.  UCONN only scored 63 or so.  WV struggled and Villanova struggled to score points.  A good defense will win you a lot more games then a good offense.  We will see.** I think he should only get one more year, but my guy tells me that unless he goes 8-21 next year, woolard is going to let this contract run out. No expecations, and no desire to take the big risk to bring in a huggins.

He one one BIG EAST game; a meaningless one at that. Try winning 14 more next season to go undefeated in the BIG EAST and then we will talk. Guest BullsFans
Woolard should extend Mac's contract through the 2012/2013 season and pay him $1,000,000 per year.
