There will be plenty of seats available on the bandwagon for ya.....I'm sure we'll see a "hey, i was wrong..." post next year sometime. I'll be on the lookout. You get a bunch of people alumns thinking this way, and in the aggragate it will only hurt USF. Bottom line, is that I'll never be embarassed to be a Bull no matter how things get. Being a recent law school graduate, I'm just now starting to get on my feet financially. But, I'm aiming to join the Bulls Club next year so I can start pumping money into our athletic programWe need to support the school that enabled us to be where we are today. I'm not saying that you aren't entitled to your opinions because you can gripe all you want. However, for your griping to mean a lick in the eyes of "the powers that be," my friend, you have to put your money where your mouth is. Become an Iron Bull, and see how much your opinion matters to the athletics department. Until then you are just blowing hot air on a message board. Perhaps, that’s too harsh and even a bit unfair, but, if you’re looking for my honest opinion, that’s exactly what University of South Florida athletic director Doug Woolard’s statement made Coach Robert McCullum. Woolard said Wednesday that McCullum, who has three years left on his contract, “will remain our men’s head basketball coach next season.†Some endorsement. Woolard said he felt he needed to issue a statement because The Tampa Tribune’s story Tuesday of boosters wanting to buy out McCullum and bring in former Cincinnati coach Bob Huggins “were a distraction to the team.†For the past few weeks, I have asked Woolard on several occasions to assess McCullum’s performance or the state of the program. I even said can you at least confirm he will return next year? Each time, Woolard politely said he evaluates each coach after their season is over. Well, at least, each coach he doesn’t feel like discussing. If you look at what Woolard is saying, they evaluate at the end of EVERY season. The fact that Wooldard is saying RMC will be back NEXT season does not make him a dead man walking. (However, another 6-21 record will). It simply means that there is no doubt that RMC will coach AT LEAST next year. That is yet another reasons why even my cats won't go to the bathroom on the Tampa Tribune.

His job is on the line just like RMC's! DW doesn't get where he is today by wanting to loose. The same goes for the entire Athletic Department. Do you think they walk into the athletic department every morning and say to themselves: "How can I #uck up the MBB team today?" They want us to win just as bad as any of us, but the only difference is that they actually know what they are doing! Who are you to say that they are not commited to winning? In the past 10 years our Athletic Department has helped us grow from a "no name" school to a school in a BCS conference! We got a football team, got new facilities, new sponsers, telivised games, and are in the process of doing much, much more. And as for you saying that you will not attend a game next year, or donate any money is the most self-centered thing I have herd sence I got out of high school. You sound like a little kid who's parents won't buy him a piece of candy. I will admit I was in favor of us getting a new coach too, but there is one big difference between the two of us: I realize where my place is. I am not the AD, nor am I a head coach, and for that very reason I spend my time behind my team, not above them, where you like to be.I am tired of this fair-weather $hit. I don't like loosing anymore than the next guy, but I am not about to hide my colors becasue I don't like where my program is now, or where I think they will be in the future. Personally I am woundering wheather or not you sport your green and gold with pride, or if you are one of those fans who owns a teeshirt of every big name school just so you can be the first to jump on a band waggon when someone wins. So my question to you ARI is: are you a Bull or not? Because with an attitude like that I would prefer you go piss off!
