I am just saying give the guy a chance. He is human. Just because the guy has a few pops, doesn't mean he knows his football.

Its a bad decision to drink an drive and its wrong at any level.  But it happens to people from time to time. Cut him slack.

what if he had killed someone, or stopped the fire truck form saving someone?

if he stays it should be he has to get help AND a zero tolerace policy!

If someone gets stopped for DUI, doesn´t mean he needs to go to AA ... it´s called bad luck after making a bad decision. And that´s why I joined AAA ... they will take you and your car home  8)

And thankfully nothing bad happened to anyone else.

Do GA's get paid or is this like a Krammer deal where he gets fired from being a volunteer at a company? As far as ET's comment about bad luck the police report reads like they guy was incapable of driving, that is different than being over the limit a little and getting pulled over for another reason and then get hit with DUI. He may have read the Grothe transfers post and freaked out.

GA's do get paid, but not much they get a monthly stipend usually (most schools it is in the 1200-1500 range, plus a % of their schooling paid for).

According to the USF website full time masters level GA's get a yearly stipend of 7,500 to 7,800 part time is much smaller, I do not know this guys status but if he is part time he is like a vouluteer 300 to 400 a month.

True, that´s why I put someone ... it does read like he´s up the creek, but that´s why he´ll have his day in court.
