Marcus Edwards and SJ Green were the best receivers toward the end of the season.

Peyton was a bad seed you guys are lucky he's gone!!  This stregthens my arguement that the 2002 WR squad was and will be the best for a long time to come.  Better all around players in 2002.

Well, Marcus Edwards only caught like two balls, so that's not saying much, but I agree.

However, this is only because Peyton was in the doghouse from day one (there's no other way to explain why he was so low on the depth chart) and they never threw him the ball because of it.

Peyton was one of the most cockiest players I have ever known...he would come to practice late and go half ass...He put himself in the doghouse arguing w coaches and with his laziness...trust me not a huge loss...If Peyton had half the enthusiasm and HEART as Amarri Jackson he would be an all Big East receiver...

I hate agreeing with Smazzy, but Peyton couldn't catch a cold. It seems like he either dropped it going across the middle because he was scared, or he would try to get cute and catch it one handed down the sideline...

I think McCollough is the biggest loss out of that group. He wa a heck of an athlete, and I expected big things out of him in the future. I think Sabbath Joseph will actually get better from this though, he will get a lot more game action, and that is what he needs. In the film I saw of him, he over-reacted on a lot of plays, and that will get him in trouble at this level.
