EVERY city wants to host the tourney, just like every city wants to host the Superbowl, just like every city wants to host the All-Star game.  The NCAA loves to do it in Florida because of the weather.  Tampa happens to be a great spot for them to use.  It certainly isn't because tampa supports college basketball, that's hilarious. Please....if the Magic moved to Tampa they would draw around the same number of fans. Check their preseason game attendance records at the forum. You're telling me thast you know more than the NBA?  The NBA was wrong to not seek to put a team in Tampa.  I love it, you guys are just too funny.  Tampa ain't a bball town, deal with it. I agree Tampa isn't a bball town but was it a hockey town?? Winning brings fans no matter where you are. Good coaches bring Wins. Huggins is a great coach!

There is a huge difference between Men's and Women's attendace. Tampa is a bandwagon town and if we got a big name coach like Huggins interest will follow and fans will come.

I know....I don't mean this to be a bash Mac thread. However, watching Huggins at KSU and thinking we could have possibly had that in Tampa is tough to swallow.

On Bob Huggins....What an environment he has brought to K State. I am by no means a Mac hater but a top recruiting class and a sold out Dome would be hard to pass up.
