Maybe professors can get into the act........

An "extra credit" type deal with a reward involved....

"Describe the Sundolls outfits during the halftime show?"

"What color was TJ Reaves' tie?"

"Who sat in the LAST seat on the bench?"

You know, things that you would ONLY know if you were AT the game.

I think we're the only 2 people who actually pay attention to TJ Reaves, and that includes the radio listening audience

Students do not pay tuition for such nonsense.

Professors are educators not sports marketeers.

Require X% Greek attendance for each event or they will lose there on campus housing or maybe increase lease payments.  Of course there would be some exceptions and warnings/probation periods for so called failures.  Maybe just free beer would do.  Or cheaper beer for 21 yr. plus students.  Like $1.5 or $2 large ones.

Lol.... ok... I was looking for stuff Studet Gov can do... I can't force Greeks to go or make prof's require it!

I was looking more for locations for scrolling electronic signs (near cooper, etc) tell everyone of upcoming events.

Things that really are possible.

Like it or not Greeks already make up a large percentage of the attendance at football and basketball in regards to students.  Just because you don't see jerseys and letters every where doesn't mean they aren't there.  If there were a way to cater more to them the turn out would be even greater.  There are nearly 1500 greek students and the number continues to grow. The thing about greeks is they come in groups not alone. SO if your "Plan" is to fine, raise leases, or take away there houses we should kick all students off campus because you can tell them in their face about the game and they still wont go.  SG must first address the problems students face then answer them.  Many students still have no clue it is free to attend a game.  SG has such a large budget, much larger than athletics, that I think they should do much more to inspire spirit among the campus and at games.

Replace the useless "University Experience" course with a one-credit course where your grade is based on the # of athletic events you attend.   ;D

You can require all you want to, you may just have a venue full of people who could care less about the game.

Bottom line.    Enthusiasm Is Contagious!   If you get only a handfull of students who care about football, make sure their presence is known on campus!!! Crap, I went to USF for over a year before I knew that students got into the games for free!
