You are wrong we beat Rutgers!

I guess all you care about is how some "recruiting specialist" rates the players we are recruiting. It doesn't mean a darn thing. When are you going to get that through your head. All it means is potential. It doesn't mean squat!!!

Alright smazzy, their ranking isn't as good as you might hope for, or want, but don't you think they filled needs with this years class? They needed LB's and they picked a few up, including Sabbath Joseph. I know you think he is too small, but seriously man, you dont think he will turn out to be a good, if not great outside LB? They needed some size and speed at WR and all three guys thay have comitted have run a 4.4 and are over 6'1.. They needed D-Linemen so they went out and got Frank Harry, who I thought you would love because he is a 4-star AND he is a JUCO player!! You need a QB, USF gets Alwan Lee, who is a hell of a QB. Yeah, he is undersized, but that didn't slow him from producing great numbers in high school down in Miami.

C'mon man, I know you are all about being negative, but you should give the Bulls some credit, they have filled voids, even though those voids might not give them the national ranking that you are looking for.

smazza is right.  we would all be crowing about how great our class was if we where ranked 20th in the publications.  You think Pitt fans aren't all excited right now.  I am disappointed at how low our class is ranked in the national publications.  I thought we would show better.  Doesn't mean the class is bad - only time will tell.

we think  a ranking ,worse than last year of 59, is great.

people looking in think we are rank amatuers

our ranking is what it is but don't make anymore out of it than it is

let us hope there are lots of surprises tomorrow

Another thought to the rankings ....  Last year we were in position to win the Big East.  It didn't happen, but we had the talent to do it.  That was accomplished mostly with conference USA recruits, because a majority of last years recruits didn't provide much in terms of starting lineups.  So if we end up with a recruiting class the same as last years, then I believe we will be even better next year.  Would I like a top 10 class?  sure.  But we aren't quite there yet.  I know our defensive coaches, given even the smallest of talent, can create a defense that will shine.  Hopefully, our offensive coaches can put together a package in the spring that will maximize the talents of both the returing players and those newcomers that will play a key role.  This will give us a better chance to win the Big East.  Will it be enought to win the National Championship?  Probably not.  But Rome wasn't built overnight.
