MOBILE, Ala. -- The running backs on the South squad shined during the team's practice at the Senior Bowl Tuesday afternoon. Memphis RB DeAngelo Williams was the brightest star in the group. He looked very good. Williams showed great cutback ability, great vision and a terrific burst. He exploded through the defense on three successive runs during the afternoon practice. LSU RB Joseph Addai caught the ball well and showed some quickness. He's a versatile player and has a chance to have a nice week.

RB Jerious Norwood from Mississippi State displayed some natural running instincts and caught the ball.

South Florida RB Andre Hall showed he can pass block, which is important at the NFL level. Hall also displayed some running skills.

Yeah, the BE's rushing leader has 'some' running skills.

This guy's a joke, it amazes me that he gets paid. Isn't he living off his dad's legacy?

Hey, any ++++ press is good press. He could have said Andre looked like She-at, (which of course would be the biggest lie next to Clintons no sex with lewinski). Remember, all the press that Andre gets is a big plus for his future!!!    Reaper

The Question mark on Andre was his pass blocking not his "running skills" this is very good news.  NFL scouts will know that Andre can run they dont know if he can pass block

Andre Hall will be a mid round pick and a solid contributor to most NFL teams that would get him.  A good value as a change up or 3rd down back/receiver.

I wouldnt want to see him used like clinton portis, but he could play similar to brian westbrook or marshal faulk if he improves.  (i know those are rather lofty comparisons, but he's more their style than say jerome bettis or LT)

He's just commenting off of an individual practice.

Mel has worked his way into the position he's in.

Go Andre !!!
