Alonzo McQueen is good... very similar to the last LB we just got a verbal from... similar size, 6'1" 210 lbs, 4.6 speed.  Actually, he's identical too LaBrandon Glover's size, except he's listed as 5 lbs lighter.

Both LBs are 3 star, for what that's worth.  McQueen was offered by UCF, UF, Clemson, NC State, and South Carolina.

USF Gets 5 Verbal Commitments

Published: Jan 23, 2006

TAMPA - After hosting its biggest recruiting weekend, the University of South Florida received verbal commitments from five high school seniors.

Committing to USF were Naples offensive tackle Hector Hernandez, Jacksonville Lee linebacker Alonzo McQueen, Milton defensive end Josh Smiley, Tallahassee Godby center Kevin McCaskill and Miami Washington defensive end Joseph Jackson.

Hernandez started two seasons at Naples.

McQueen visited South Carolina and N.C. State; Smiley considered Middle Tennessee, Louisiana Lafayette, Florida and Clemson.
