They will go 6-10 or 7-9 in conference play. BE teams will beat each other up and 8 will make it in. While the SEC and PAC - 10 will get 4-5 in, the Mid Majors are having great seasons. Schools like Witchita State, So Illinois, and Bucknell are probably going to get at large bids if they don't win their conference tourny's

We will see. The facts are that the 4 teams in the bottom USF,Seton Hall,Providence and St John will be beaten like a drum by the top teams improving their records If Marquette goes 7-9 in BE play it will put them at 18-11 or so and they will get as a #11-12 seed. While no conference our size has never existed, no conference has ever sent more than 7 teams. .500 and under conference records will not buy many bids this year there are too many good midmajor teams that have beaten top teams (Bucknell over cuse) to be ignored. The SEC and Pac-10 will hurt from it, but we won't get 9 teams in because of it. USF will steal one win from a big boy. And while 18-11 is a nice record for Mrquette, their RPI stinks and they haven't beaten but one team worth a darn. Last time I checked, UConn was worth a darn.Regarding USF, it's going to be painful to watch the BasketBulls for the next few seasons, but in the long-run we should put together the best basketball program in the state. Have patience and support your Bulls.
