We had one during year 2 I think.  He was kept in a pen outside the stadium.   He was a cool looking Brahman.  In fact I think they trained him in the usf soccer practice fields that are fenced in.  They wanted him to be used to people.  I heard he stayed in the opposite corner the whole time.

Not sure why they stopped bringing him.

I agree, unfortunately SG doesn't have any say in our QB!  I am not sure, but I think I could prolly take on Rod SMith though in that department!  Let CJL know!  :)

The Bulldozer is better than a Bull.....It travels well, gets better gas mielage and it doesn't stink up the place...Awesome!  

The Bulldozer rocks! You think we could get a sponsorship deal with Scion and drive it out to the field? I'm sure if we give the greedy Glazers a cut of the deal they would allow it.  ;D

To have a live bull, USF would have to have it caged up like Memphis does with their Tiger. Also, Busch Gardens would have to take care of that if that get a good sponsor deal with USF. There should be minimal costs and liabilities envolved in this. No way do we let that bull run around on the stadium field. The only was is to secure that animal to make it safe for anyone. Then you would have PETA pretty pissed off at USF for caging the animal up. So who really knows what will work.

do you seriouslyt think we have the money available for the upkeep and transportation of a enormous live animal when we won't cough up $5000 to resod/paint the endzones for home games?

Nah-- running a reall Bull on the field looks great on paper but it is a huge can of worms. There would be hoove prints/impressions all over hte place and that could even lead to injuries.

Don't get me wrong-- I like Brahman Bulls as much as the next guy. But they aren't cuddly and loveable plush toys.
