Construction could start as early as 2025. I'm a big urbanest guy who is loving all the new developments in Tampa from Water Sstreet to Gas Worx, Ybor Harbor, the redevelopment of the Central City YMCA in Tampa Heights and on and on. This one by far has me most excited. USF is really becoming a destination And because USF owns the property - it will be a revenue generator for the school. Hopefully it will be somewhat affordable and more students than not fill the development. Give us plenty of sustainable college bars too, all the ones "in the area" turnover quite frequently. Make these ours for decades.

A microbrewery would be awesome!

Having a place to "dispose" of the beer will be a great opportunity to modify recipes from small to large batches. Win Win for everyone. A nice Golden Bull Lager, or a South Florida Weisse, or even a Judy Genshaft Gose, for those still salty about her tenure.

Just build upscale dorms above the retail for juniors, seniors and grad students only.

Absolutely MUST HAVE a good West Coast IPA... Not the hazy grapefruit stuff. 2¢

They can even do a nod to Coach Golesh roots and do a Golesh Russian Imperial Stout. Lots of fun to be had.
