The Claw

I know some of us have heard whispers about the redevelopment of the Claw.  I just listened to a podcast (The Tampa Bay Developer) that had Mike Kelly on.  He did mention that the Claw will be redeveloped into usage for the University at some point.   This can become a great revenue stream for the University and create that destination spot to give students and alumns that true feeling of being on a college campus.    Let the runors start on what others are hearing

It was (or is?) the golf course off of the Fletcher side of campus with all the apartments.

Sat with a coach at the coaches luncheon that said the same thing.  Some sort of housing with retail and restaurants at the bottom is what he mentioned.  Will go up as the stadium goes up.

That could be cool if it became a destination after the games.  Otherwise it sounds like the usual live/work/play glut?
