This move worries me as now I’m not sure who UK will look for their next HC.

I agree with you. I think they will probably look for a big name coach to come in, but you never know.

He would fit right in Miguel’s spot, but he will probably follow Cal.

My guess is Karter follows Cal to Arkansas. I doubt he remains committed to UK. I do think this slightly opens the door for USF - however slim (5%? 10%? 25%?), but a nonzero chance.
