.189 last year  and .265 with 9 HRs the year before.   .290 during the summer league.  Take your pick on which one you want to believe.  Monique was the other golden sombrero winner, he hit .291 with 5 HRs last season.

It's opening night. 

Tomorrow's opponent, Louisville, blew leads in their first two games.  Be nice to send them home winless

Baseball is back this weekend!  Should be some good games versus some quality opponents.  Friday we play our old conference foe UConn at 6PM.  Saturday we play another familiar team with Louisville.

Great night out at the ballpark.  The crowd was a near sellout.  I don't remember ever having this big of a crows for a non UF or FSU game.  So that was great to see.  Pitching was great but a bad pickoff attempt after putting a guy on by a hit by pitch plated what turned out to be the winning run.  There was just no hitting all night.  Mayo and Monque struck out a combined 8 times out of the 6 and 7 slots in our lineup.  Can't have that if you want to compete.  Hopefully the bats show up today if they are able to play.  Forecast doesn't look good for baseball today.

We need an Indoor Baseball Facility, expandable of course.

The Bulls and @LouisvilleBSB  will play Sunday at 9 a.m. USF vs. @IndStBaseball will follow on Sunday at 1 p.m.
