Bulls lead 42-38 at the end of 3 quarters.

Bulls down 2 with the ball and about a minute left. CJF calls timeout and pulls Aarnio for Blasigh, who has sat the entire half. Blasigh shoots the 3 and misses the rim; ball bounces off the bottom of the backboard and levy rebounds and scores and is fouled. She misses the Ft. Score tied with 40 seconds. Scratch that. Temple scores and is shooting a FT. Missed FT. Bulls with the ball trying to tie. Levy throws stupid pass that is stolen. Game over. Bulls lose.

Bulls fall to 2.5 back with 6 games left. 

Levy played a good game until the poor decision to make a long pass. She scored 26 and Schipholt with 13 and 19 rebounds. Blasigh went 0-8, including 0-5 from deep. I would like to see plays called for Aarnio, who took only 2 shots.

Aarnio doesn’t shoot from the perimeter, though. She needs jump shots from inside.

Why are we even talking about a player who averages 8 minutes a game and has made 5 field goals all season and 18 in two seasons? Just stop. My guess is she isn’t even part of the program next season.

She does shoot from the perimeter. She did last year and has done it in her career. She is playing the wing when she is in, but she is not being given the opportunity to shoot. This was my whole point; let her loose.

Because she needs to play more and given more opportunities. That's why. The fact that she has been playing more the past few games, and the entire 2nd half today, except for one play, is telling.

It’s telling that Jose is desperate at this point to find anyone besides Romy, Vicki and - recently - Evelien who can give him anything. And nobody has stepped up.

When you get those extra minutes, you need to show something, right? A little more than 2 points and 2 rebounds in 21 minutes.

Let’s be honest, none of those girls that were freshmen last year have made any progress - not Janette, not Emma, not Carla, not Dani, not Marina - and that’s why we are where we are right now. Jose is going to have to decide if any of them just need more time to develop or if they are what they are. We haven’t seen this much in the past. That’s why our program has sustained success. Role players one year always became key contributors the next when given the opportunity. This bunch hasn’t.

Today he had players playing 94 out of a total 200 minutes that gave him a total of 4 points.

I agree, there might be a mass replacement next year, too many aren’t contributing and don’t seem to be getting better.

I also would like us to go after more girls in the US
